    This place is the Bomb!!!  I love the garlic noodles

    The food was okay, recommend fried rice options.
    Service was very depressing and slow.
    Probably won't come back!

    The Spicy Eggplant was SO incredibly salty that, all the rice that was included, couldn't cut the overwhelming hoisin sauce. I tried to eat it... I really did. Just couldn't. It tasted like they dumped a bottle of hoisin sauce over the dish and called it done.

    We hadn't seen our server in a while, so I told another server and she took the dish back. When our server returned, she said nothing about the entree. I mentioned it to her and she talked me down saying, "I know, I had them remove it from your bill!" No apologies. When I explained what the issue was with the food, she talked me down again, repeating that she removed the item from my bill. Then, she robotically turned and walked away.

    Coming from my cousin's wedding in San Diego, we found Lemongrass on Yelp.
    It was either this place or Jersey Mike's.

    Regardless of the reviews, we decided to try Lemongrass.

    First of all, I was impressed with the food. It was full of flavor and the price was very reasonable. Good portions.

    The vibe was weird. The service was mediocre. The girls there just ignore you unless you yell out to them then they will help you. Otherwise, they wont even look at you or stop by. I was waiting for my water to be refilled but the waiter was kind enough to notice and helped us.

    We ordered 2 orders of Spring Rolls, Red Curry with beef, Pineapple Fried Rice, and a Vegetable Pho.

    Food- 5 stars
    Service- 1 star

    UPDATE: The manager Liz called me the next day to apologize. FYI she was not on vacation. Liz offered 3 entrees on the house. I went by to reorder the two meatball pho's with no issues. I really appreciated the call and the attempt to make things right.
